Introspect/Retrospect

Now's a good time as any to write my thoughts, actions, etc for the last few months. Yep, I'm lousy @ keeping up with things over a long period of time. I'm good with short-term, fast-paced projects. Anyways,

1. Took 4 night classes plus working during the day just to see if I still have the stamina to do it. Added losing weight to the mix & I'm totally surprised I lasted until the end of the semester. Thank god it was a semester & not a quarter. Managed to lose 11 lbs and did decent in all my classes. Haven't checked my grades yet, though.

2. Made a new friend from S.F. She's totally hilarious.

3. Getting closer to getting over the fear of speaking in public. Had to do 4 this semester; each one was better than the last. Did an impromptu game-show host stint @ the office party for a game of Secret Santa.

4. I asked someout out by email & didn't get a reply back. Pride's been hurt only (hopefully).

5. Got a email from somebody I didn't expect to hear from. Hopefully that will pan out in the new year.

6. Got until Jan. 28 before classes start again to start, make headway, finish, etc some big projects. Need to get a move on.

So much stuff to do b4 class starts again. Made list of big projects. I guess I should do the singles volunteer activities to meet more people. Probably in April. Need a vacation more. Oh, New York, how I miss thee. Oh well, guess I'll go to S.F. It's just as good. Or maybe Seattle. Haven't gone there yet.

Went to Getty Museum for the 1st time last Sunday. Gorgeous place. Need to spend more time there. I guess it's worth the drive.
